Exercise is very important for a healthy heart. A medically supervised exercise therapy program is a safe way to learn how to exercise after a heart problem.
Our cardiac conditioning program helps people who have had a cardiac event achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This program is designed especially for patients recovering from a heart attack, angioplasty (balloon procedure), stents, coronary bypass surgery, stable angina or for patients who are limited physically by other cardiac problems.
A referral from a physician is necessary for enrollment in the program. Each session lasts about an hour. Heart and blood pressure are monitored throughout the exercise session.
